The Business Technology Incubator of Technical Faculties Belgrade (BITF) is Serbia’s first and leading business technology incubator that provides comprehensive support to young, educated people in developing innovative ideas and starting their businesses!
For more than a decade, BITF has maintained close links with young innovators and students and through numerous activities and trainings encourages the development of new startup teams, the commercialization of innovation and R&D results, as well as the creation of new hi-tech SMEs.
Founded by four technology faculties of the University of Belgrade (Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Faculty of Civil Engineering and Faculty of Technology and Metallurgy), the Municipality of Palilula and the Democratic Transition Initiative, BITF is today part of Science Technology Park Belgrade (STP Belgrade) in charge for supporting startups at the early stages of development (Incubation Program).

Innovate Forward
Innovate Forward is a project focused on creating practical opportunities for students, researchers, and early-stage teams to develop innovative ideas. In collaboration with faculties and ecosystem partners, BITF works on identifying potential, supporting startup team development, and designing programs tailored to real user needs. The project emphasizes connecting knowledge, resources, and people to accelerate innovation and foster entrepreneurship. The project is supported by the Government of the Swiss Confederation.
SKILLBRIDGE - Shaping the Future of Deep Tech Work and Skills through Alliances for Education and Enterprises
BITF is partner in the SKILLBRIDGE project under Erasmus+ Alliances for Innovation (Lot 1) to modernise skills development in higher education, vocational education and training, and industry. The initiative will run for three years, engaging 14 partners from Poland, Lithuania, Croatia, Spain and Serbia. More information is available here.
Technopark Serbia 2 - Boosting Exports through Technoparks
BITF was a partner in a project implemented by the Belgrade Science and Technology Park (2020-2024) and funded by the Swiss Government. The project aimed to enhance the competitiveness of Serbia’s high-tech industry. Through this initiative, revenue and exports increased, along with the creation of new job opportunities in the high-tech sector, both in Belgrade and in the regions of Niš and Čačak.

This summer, ParkUP! opens doors for students from all over Serbia!
ParkUP! is an intensive five days program of learning, working, and socializing, which is being held in an inspirational environment in the Science Technology Park Belgrade, with the main goal that students step into the startup world, gain knowledge and skills how to design ideas/spot problems, form a team and get acquainted with the steps in the development of a successful startup.
